On the day the two lovers separated, zombies attacked. A new genre called "Zombom" was created by adding zombie material to romantic comedy.

The production presentation of the Coupang Play series "Newtopia" was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, this morning (7th).

Actors Park Jung-min, Black Pink Jisoo, and Yoon Sung-hyun attended the production presentation.

'Newtopia' is a story of soldier Jae-yoon (Park Jung-min) and Gomsin Yeongju (Ji-soo) running to each other across downtown Seoul, where zombies attacked.

On the same day, director Yoon said, "When I watched the script, I felt that 'Yeongju' was so attractive." As the story unfolds, we gradually move to an unimaginable point," he explained.

"Youngjoo is a person who should have humor and whimsicalness," he said. "I thought about who could express that, and naturally thought of Ji-soo."

Ji-soo, who plays the bold character, said, "I saw a lot of zombie movies, but when I first saw the script of 'Newtopia', there were many colorful incidents as well as zombie incidents, so I thought a new zombie movie would be born. Young-ju also came to me attractively, and I participated without hesitation because I was with director Yoon and senior Park Jung-min," he said.

Black Pink members have continued to perform well in their respective positions since their individual activities. Next year, we plan to gather as BLACKPINK again and continue our activities.

Unlike other BLACKPINK members, Jisoo, who started her personal career with acting, said, "Our members give me congratulatory messages whenever they do well. I felt deeply that it was a family-like relationship again," he said, expressing his affection for the members.

"Wouldn't other members feel good if they heard good things about me?" he said. "That's why I worked harder. I want to produce results that the members can be proud of," he said.

Director Yoon said about the difference between "Newtopia" and other zombie movies, "Since the 2000s, the form of zombie movies has changed fearfully and quickly. Twenty years have passed since then. Now is the time for zombie water that gives a slow and cute feeling. I think it's a new and unique work," he said.

Park Jung-min also revealed that he is a fan of Jisoo. After "Dr. Chun", the two of them worked together again for the first time in about a year and a half.

Park Jung-min said, "I witnessed a magical moment on the set. Jisoo is in the air after being illuminated, and I've never seen a single scene where all the staff members look at a monitor with such an actor. I was even like that. He said, "He performed that well, and he was an amazing actor."

"Newtopia" will be released for the first time on Coupang Play at 8 p.m. on February 7.
