UK massive flooding damage... "Over 200 flood warnings"

Flooding has caused massive flooding across northern and central England.

Local disaster officials say more than 200 flood warnings have been issued, including in Leicestershire, where the Sore River has flooded.

In Leicestershire, 60 isolated residents were rescued after homes and vehicles were suddenly flooded.

Manchester and Liverpool airports in the northwest were temporarily closed due to operations to remove ice from the runway.

In northern England, hundreds of schools have been closed and local governments' New Year's events, including fireworks, have been canceled one after another.
