Police are investigating 159 malicious posts about the plane disaster.

The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters said it was investigating 159 malicious posts containing slander of the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster and their bereaved families as of 5 p.m. yesterday (7th).

Police are also investigating YouTube videos that generate and spread false information, urging them to stop posting malicious posts and videos indiscriminately.

Earlier, on the 4th, the police are tracking down related suspects, including arresting a man in his 30s who posted a slanderous article about compensation for bereaved families.
