U.S. President-elect Trump also said he understood Russia's position against Ukraine's accession to NATO and sided with Russia.

In the meantime, Russian airstrikes have caused dozens of casualties in Zaporizhzhia, southern Ukraine.

Zaporizhzhia, a city in southern Ukraine, the site that was bombed by Russia is literally Abiguwan.

Sculptures of guided bombs hit trams and buses carrying passengers, resulting in dozens of casualties.

Earlier, Ukraine also launched a massive drone strike and hit the Russian air force's oil reserves.

Russian media said the attack declared a state of emergency in Saratov province near the Volga River due to fire.

Ahead of the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Trump, who has declared an early end to the war, the offensive between the two sides is getting fiercer.

The number of victims is growing out of control as the counterattack continues.

In the meantime, Trump's remarks poured cold water on Ukraine's wish to join NATO as a condition of a ceasefire came out.

Russia, one of the reasons for the invasion of Ukraine is NATO's ally, says it can never accept Ukraine's accession to NATO.
