Fire on the first floor of an apartment building in Ilsan-dong, Gyeonggi-do.1 seriously injured

A fire broke out on the first floor of an 18-story apartment building in Ilsan-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do at around 8:40 a.m. today (9th).

A woman in her 70s who lived in a generation that caught fire was seriously injured, including second-degree burns.

In addition, 26 apartment residents were evacuated, and 11 were taken to the hospital after inhaling smoke.

The fire department, which extinguished the fire in about 30 minutes, is investigating the exact cause of the fire, believing that the fire started from the heating wire wrapped around the veranda pipe.
