Singer-actress Bae Seul-gi (38) and YouTuber Shim Ki-seop (36) warned of a hard-line response, saying they had received death threats.
Bae Seul-ki's agency, Chan Entertainment, announced today (9th) that "We have decided to take a strong legal action with a terrible feeling against the recent death threats made to the actor Bae Seul-ki and his wife."
The agency said, "The expressions circulated through a community bulletin board are so disastrous that they cannot be described in detail that it is difficult for families to fully live their daily lives."
He then warned, "We will track down distributors such as writing malicious posts and comments to the end and hold strong legal responsibility in accordance with the zero tolerance principle."
"The method of deleting URLs and withdrawing membership is spreading to avoid leaving evidence, but we have collected all the written posts and continue to request cooperation from related sites," he said. "Based on this, we have submitted a complaint to the investigative agency, and we will continue to take constant legal action in connection with the legal team."
Bae Seul-ki married Shim Ki-seop, two years her junior, in November 2020 and held her son in her arms in October last year.
