The government says there has been no confirmed human damage to our people so far in connection with the large forest fires in the Los Angeles area.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Consulate General of LA has set up and operated an on-site command center, and is taking measures to check whether the damage is done to the Korean people.
In addition, the Consulate General of LA explained on its website and social media that it is making safety announcements to Korean residents and making all-out efforts to ensure the safety of Korean residents by contacting major local agencies.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it will take safety measures for our people by maintaining a constant communication system with local missions and continuing to find out whether they are damaged or not.
