However, some point out that the delay in the investigation is inevitable because it is in fog from the prospect of the ruling and opposition parties' agreement, and it takes about a month to prepare for the actual operation of the special prosecutor.

Currently, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit is at the helm of the investigation into President Yoon's rebellion, but the controversy over the investigation authority is following like a tag.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit says it can open an investigation for abuse of authority and then investigate rebellion for related crimes, but

is protesting that he cannot respond to illegal investigations as he does not have the right to investigate rebellion in the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.

Along with pointing out that the investigation into the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit is giving an excuse for President Yoon's refusal to comply with the investigation, there are naturally growing calls for the introduction of a special prosecutor.

This is because if the Civil War Special Prosecutor Act, which is currently discussed in the National Assembly, is passed, the investigation will be unified as a special prosecutor with both the right to investigate and prosecute.

Many analysts say that the prospect of a special prosecutor is not bright at the moment, as the investigation into the alleged rebellion is forced to stop for about a month until the investigation begins in earnest, and the ruling and opposition parties cannot be guaranteed.
