Former People's Power lawmaker Kim Min has been criticized for being seen sleeping in the plenary session of the National Assembly on the same day, amid controversy over arranging a press conference for a youth organization called the White Bone Team.

Yesterday, a plenary session was held at the National Assembly to question urgent issues related to the alleged rebellion of President Yoon Suk Yeol and the fact-finding of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

Former lawmaker Kim Min also attended the plenary session, and a media company caught him sleeping.

Earlier, Kim arranged a press conference for the Anti-Communist Youth Corps (Baekgoldan) at the National Assembly Communication Center just before the plenary session, which is the name of a plainclothes shell or political gang that overpowered protesters with violence during the dictatorship.

Rep. Kim was already caught sleeping in July last year when the people's power held a filibuster (unlimited debate) to prevent the passage of the "Coporal Chae Special Prosecutor Act."

In response, Han Joon-ho, a lawmaker of the Democratic Party of Korea, sarcastically said at the Democratic Party's Supreme Committee meeting held on the 10th, "Former lawmaker Kim Min-won had a good night's sleep again in the National Assembly's plenary session, whether he was very tired after achieving such a great achievement (a press conference)."

Meanwhile, Kwon Sung-dong, floor leader of the People's Power, told reporters that it was inappropriate to arrange a press conference with the name or substance of the white bone group unclear.

However, he said, "It is not a reason for disciplinary action because lawmaker Kim admitted his mistake and apologized."
