BTOB's Lee Chang-seop has started the "Hanul" for the past five months, when he couldn't sing due to his throat health.

At 4 p.m. today (2nd), a media showcase was held at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of Lee Chang-seop's first solo studio album "1991."

Lee Chang-seop's first solo full-length album "1991" is an album that captures the mindset of being firm and free only as he went on without stopping in 1991, the year Lee Chang-seop was born.

This album has a unique meaning to Lee Chang-seop. He said, "BTOB activities have always come before solo albums. BTOB is the top priority, so I stopped doing solo activities. As a result, the release of the solo album was delayed," he said, adding, "I was going to release a mini album in April this year. Interrupted by a throat health issue and I've been very hungry to sing for 5 months. It's an album that popped what I've endured for five months like a party."

Earlier, Lee Chang-seop suffered from deteriorating neck health due to vocal cord polyps. In response, he reassured his fans, saying, "It's not a cure, but the recovery speed is getting faster day by day." He worked tirelessly on his album during this Chuseok holiday. Lee Chang-seop strengthened his will, saying, "I think I've been active a lot, but today is the beginning, so I've made up my mind."

Lee Chang-seop is then like a musical autobiography of his past, present, and unfinished business for his first full-length album. He said, "This album is a collection of what I've heard and seen. "I tried to capture the passage of time naturally in the composition of the album," he explained.

The first title song of the album, "33" (Samsam), is a song about the autobiographical story of 33-year-old Lee Chang-seop who realized while looking back on the past. Lee Chang-seop wrote the lyrics on his own and released the message, "We have to move forward every moment," and leads the pop rock genre with a light and appealing voice between the full guitar sound and the magnificent quire.

The album's double title song "OLD TOWN" (Old Town) is a city pop song that expresses memories with Lee Chang-seop's affectionate and bouncy emotions. The combination of musical instrument sounds such as retro piano, funky guitar, and rhythmic drum will provide the pleasure of listening.

Among them, when asked about his goal as a solo artist, Lee Chang-seop said, "I've grown up as a BTOB Lee Chang-seop, but I want to show that I have a bowl as a solo artist as well. "As I moved solo, I felt the weight of the solo," he said. "It's heavy to carry the share of six people alone, but I felt strong as I overcame it one by one."

"With this album, I want to start with my feet on the ground as a solo artist," he said. It's amazing and very meaningful that my voice is included in the entire 12 songs. I think this album will become very precious," he said, expressing affection.
