North Korea, which claims the infiltration of South Korean drones into Pyongyang, has released photos of the wreckage of the drone, calling it decisive evidence.

Our military authorities have maintained their existing position that they cannot confirm anything related to the claim, saying it is not worth responding to.

Reporter Kim Dae-gyeom's report.

This is the photo released by the North Korean Ministry of National Defense, calling it decisive evidence of the "South Korean drone penetration."

It shows the drone hanging from a branch as if it had crashed and the aircraft was lowered to the ground and taken from various directions.

North Korea said on the 13th that it found the remains of the drone in the Hyeongje Mountain area of Pyongyang.

[Chosun Central TV: The provocation of grave sovereignty infringement by South Korean military thugs has been clearly confirmed through the acquisition of decisive evidence and objective and scientific investigation into it, a Ministry of National Defense spokesman said....]

He also claimed that his own investigation determined that it was the same model as the South Korean military's small drone for long-range reconnaissance, which appeared at the last Armed Forces Day ceremony.

Considering the appearance of the drone, the estimated timing of the flight, and the attachment of the spray container, it is highly likely that it was used to spray leaflets.

However, he added that he has not yet concluded whether the gas is a gas that has sprayed propaganda leaflets against North Korea in the center of Pyongyang.

[Yang Wook / Researcher of Asan Institute for Policy Studies (YTN Newswide): If there is more detailed and direct evidence, North Korea will present it. A few days ago, after Kim Yo-jong shouted out that there was evidence, he just released a picture of a drone....]

North Korea said it would increase its air surveillance system and again threatened to retaliate immediately if the invasion took place again.

This was also included in the Rodong Sinmun, which North Koreans see, and it is interpreted as an intention to crack down on the inside.

[Hong Min / Senior Researcher at the Korea Institute for National Unification: It can be seen that the sky over Pyongyang is completely violated and is directly related to the safety of the regime and the leadership, so to prevent further recurrence of Korea's actions, it is highlighted and alerted the residents....]

However, we cannot rule out the possibility that North Korea may bring our fallen military reconnaissance drones and use them in a way that is advantageous to them, or that they are making false claims with replicas at all.

North Korea claimed that leaflets were attached to the debris of the drone released this time, but did not release photos.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff, which has been "unable to confirm" North Korea's alleged infiltration of drones, refrained from responding again, saying it was "not worth answering."
