Ulsan Nambu Police Station booked two team leaders, including A in his 50s from a plant company, and B in his 40s without detention and handed them over to the prosecution on charges of collecting the difference by writing a false labor contract that raised wages than they actually did.
In addition, 89 workers who signed false contracts and received wages and returned the difference were sent without detention.
A and others are accused of hiring workers at a new factory construction site in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, writing false labor contracts that inflated wages, and stealing business expenses by deceiving the company by receiving the difference excluding actual wages.
In this way, it was found that 380 million won was collected 676 times from December 2019 to June this year.
"This method has been customary at construction sites, but it is a clear criminal act," the police said. "Please actively report it to the police as it can lead to poor construction due to workers' exploitation of wages and excessive business expenses."
