A fire in Wonju apartment in Gangwon...No casualties.

A fire broke out at the 47-year-old A's house in Taejang-dong, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do at around 3 p.m. today and was extinguished in about 10 minutes.

There were no casualties, but 70 square meters inside the apartment were burned, causing property damage estimated by the fire department of 5 million won.

Fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire based on A's words that he/she found the fire in a small room and tried to extinguish it, but failed to evacuate.
