Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said that the horrible sight of the May 18 Gwangju Democratization Movement almost became a reality for Korea today, and that the president of Yoon Suk Yeol should come down from his seat to prevent the hell.
Representative Lee made the demand at the Supreme Council, saying that the situation came to mind when he recently watched an undisclosed video related to the Gwangju Democratic Movement.
He then stressed that the world of proclamation would have opened if the people had not stopped the martial law army or had been hit by any of the few assumptions, such as lawmakers not crossing the National Assembly wall.
At the same time, he said he thought the power of the people would be in favor of impeachment, and he said, "Don't spend too much time, and I hope President Yoon puts it all down now."
