Actor Moon Yoo-gang finished the musical "Holly Innocent" in a great success and expressed his feelings about the last performance.
Moon Yoo-gang said through his agency Workhouse Company today (13th), "It was a happy time to see you on stage after a long time. At the end of the work, I always feel a bittersweet and affectionate. I think this work will also be remembered as a gift."
"There were many times when I wanted to say 'It's okay' to Theo on stage, but I hope it was a little comforting moment for the audience who were with me. Thank you to all the audience. We will try to show better performances in the future," he said, expressing his gratitude.
The musical "Holly Innocent," which was performed from September 27 to December 8, is based on the movie "Dreamers." In the center of the chaotic era of the 68 Revolution in Paris, France, three young people who met like fate dreamed of endless ideals, lived in their own world, grew up through each other, and finally moved into reality.
Moon Yu-gang played the main character Theo in Holly Innocent. Isabel and twin brother and film buff Theo, angry at the absurdity of society and challenging traditional values, desperately portrayed the chaos and anguish of youth that has come to the center of the revolution.
In particular, Moon Yu-gang challenged his first musical in six years since his debut with this work. Despite being his first challenge, he captured the hearts of the audience by showing a heavy voice, natural singing, overwhelming visuals and rich acting skills on stage.
Moon Yu-gang, who debuted through the play "Another Country," emerged as sacred by appearing in plays such as "Portrait of Dorian Gray," "Amadeus," dramas "Itaewon Class," "Missing: They Were," "When Flowers Bloom, Think of the Moon," "Mental Coach Zegal-gil," and the movie "Hijacking."
