The fire at the pig house in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province...995 pigs died.

A fire broke out at a pig farm in Gapyeong-eup, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do at around 0:10 a.m. today (8th) and was extinguished in 4 hours and 20 minutes.

The fire killed 995 pigs and burned all five pig house buildings.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire based on the reporter's statement that there was a "popping" sound outside.
