Kim Se-young (-10), LPGA Buick Shanghai 1R Leads

Kim Se-young took the lead by hitting 10 under par on the first day of the U.S. Women's Professional Golf Tour and the LPGA Tour's Buick Shanghai.

In the first round of the tournament in Shanghai, China, Kim Sei-young tied an eagle, nine birdies and one bogey to write down 10 under par.

Kim Sei-young, who set a "course record" in the fourth round of last year's tournament, surpassing Saxstrom's 9 under par, was named the lone lead by two strokes ahead of France's Boutier.

Kim Sei-young, who has won a total of 12 titles, including one major championship, on the LPGA Tour, will try to win the title in four years since the Pelicans Championship in 2020.
