Earlier in May, a woman in her 30s, who was hospitalized at Yang's psychiatric hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, died. At that time, A was hospitalized to receive treatment for addiction, and just before he died, he was reportedly quarantined and forced after receiving a high risk of self-harm from medical staff.
Since then, the bereaved family has filed a complaint against six medical staff, including Yang, the head of the hospital, on charges of professional negligence.
