Opposition parties, including the Democratic Party of Korea, argued that the government's revision of the law enforcement ordinance, which strengthened the noise standards for nighttime rallies, was feared to end the Yoon Suk Yeol regime with candlelight vigils.

Rep. Jeon Hyun-hee and others pointed out at a press conference that the noise standard of 60dB (decibel), the enforcement ordinance, is easily exceeded even when a car passes, which means that it will not allow even peaceful rallies at night.

He then stressed that the Democratic Party will also actively support the constitutional petition, which the National Financial Industry Union, which was sanctioned for violating noise standards, said at a rally on the 11th of last month.
