The government held a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters today (7th) to discuss ways to increase the vaccination rate for COVID-19 and influenza in preparation for winter.

Park Min-soo, the second vice minister of health and welfare, stressed at today's meeting that high-risk groups, such as immunocompromised people or those in vulnerable facilities, should be vaccinated against COVID-19.
