The "Kim Special Prosecutor Act" passed the opposition's independent judiciary committee...opposition from the ruling party

Kim Gun-hee's Special Prosecutor Act, the third proposed by the Democratic Party of Korea, passed the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee.

The Special Prosecutor's Act targets 14 allegations, including Kim's involvement in the manipulation of Deutsche Motors' stock price and manipulation of state affairs.

Chung Chung-rae, chairman of the Judiciary Committee, a member of the Democratic Party, criticized that the special prosecution against his wife is unconstitutional even though President Yoon Suk Yeol received all the spotlight as an independent prosecutor on state affairs, which is self-denial.

On the other hand, the People's Power did not participate in the resolution, protesting that the Democratic Party unilaterally dealt with the independent counsel law, which could be unconstitutional, for the "bulletproof" of Chairman Lee Jae-myung.
