It takes a month for Mugunghwa Satellite 6A to enter the service orbit, and it plans to start full-fledged service to domestic customers such as the military, government, and broadcasters from the first quarter of next year.
In addition, as the second satellite for aviation satellite service, it is expected to play a role in correcting errors in the location information system (GPS) in real time and providing accurate location information across the country.
This is the first satellite in seven years since Mugunghwa satellites 5A and 7 were launched in 2017.
