Zelensky "missile will speak for itself"

In response to reports that the U.S. has decided to lift restrictions on the use of long-range missiles in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy responded with an understatement, saying "the missiles will speak for themselves."

"There are many articles in the media that we have been authorized to use long-range missiles," President Zelensky said in a video address on the night of the 17th local time. "But the attacks are not just words, and they are not announced," he said. "The missiles will speak for themselves."

"This is an answer to anyone who has tried to achieve something with Putin through dialogue and conciliation," Zelenskyy also said, noting that Russia carried out some of the biggest and most dangerous missile and drone attacks targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure on Thursday.
