A fire at Chungju Nursing Hospital in North Chungcheong Province...Evacuation of 233 patients and employees

Yesterday (24th) around 10:30 a.m., a fire broke out at a nursing hospital in Dongryang-myeon, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, and was extinguished in about 40 minutes.

There were no casualties, but 233 people, including patients, were evacuated.

The fire burned inside the restaurant and caused property damage estimated by the fire department of about 2 million won.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, saying the sprinklers were operating normally at the time.
