Three people have been killed and 71 evacuated so far in connection with the heavy snowfall in the central region.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters said three people have been killed so far as of 11 a.m. today, and 71 households in 43 households in Gyeonggi Province have been temporarily evacuated.
There were 1,628 fire fighting activities, including 15 isolated citizens, and 39 people were rescued, and more than 1,500 safety measures were taken.
Out of a total of 131 cases, 46 cases have been restored due to a series of power outages.
Currently, 156 flights and 104 ferries have been canceled, and access to 302 sections of 11 national parks has been closed.
As of 2 p.m. yesterday, the Central Disaster Headquarters operated the second stage of the Central Disaster Headquarters and raised the heavy snow crisis warning to the 'alert' stage.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters asked each local government to focus on preventing damage such as traffic congestion on the way to and from work, multiple crashes on icy roads, and pedestrian safety accidents.
