Prosecutors investigating the emergency martial law incident have summoned Choi Sang-mok, Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Minister of Strategy and Finance, behind closed doors.
The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law recently summoned Deputy Prime Minister Choi as a reference and investigated the contents of the Cabinet meeting held just before the martial law was declared on the 3rd.
Deputy Prime Minister Choi was one of 11 people who attended a five-minute Cabinet meeting held from 10:17 p.m. to 10:22 p.m. on the 3rd, and was known to have opposed martial law.
The prosecution is investigating the members of the State Council who attended the meeting held before and after the emergency martial law.
