It was confirmed that 173 South Koreans and two Thais were on board the plane that crashed at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do.
The National Fire Agency confirmed that a total of 181 people, including six crew members, 173 Korean passengers, and two Thai passengers, were on the plane.
Earlier today, at around 9 a.m., a Jeju Air passenger crashed while trying to land on the runway of Muan Airport and collided with a runway wall before catching fire.
