In Daejeon, a car goes backwards and collides with a city bus...Two people are dead.

At around 11:10 p.m. last night (29th), a car drove backwards and hit an oncoming city bus on the underground road in Mannyeon-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon.

The impact caused the car to catch fire and extinguished in about 10 minutes, and two people, including the driver, were found dead in the car.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident, but a bus driver in his 50s was injured and taken to the hospital.

Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on witnesses and black box videos.
