Lim Sung-jae took third place in the opening game of the 2025 season of the PGA Tour.
On the last day of the PGA Tour's "The Sentry" held at the Plantation Course at the Kapalua Resort on Maui Island, Hawaii, Lim Sung-jae made eight birdies without a bogey in the fourth round, recording a total of 29 under par.
Lim Sung-jae, who came in third place alone, started the new year on a high note with a prize money of $1.36 million and about 2 billion won.
The tournament is the season opener where only the winners of last season's tour tournament and players in the top 50 FedEx Cup rankings participate, and a total of 59 participants participated this year.
Japan's Hideki Matsuyama won the title at 35 under par.
35 under par is the PGA Tour's most under par win in 2022, exceeding Cameron Smith's 34 under par set at the tournament.
Matsuyama won his 11th career championship on the tour in five months since the FedEx Saint Jude Championship in August last year.
Ahn Byung-hoon and Kim Si-woo finished the competition tied for 32nd at 16-under par.
