A 50-year-old man was arrested for violating traffic lights and hitting a patrol car.

The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul arrested a 50-year-old man who violated the signal and crashed into a patrol car in a child protection area in Mullae-dong, Seoul, at around 8:40 p.m. last evening (6th) on charges of obstruction of justice.

Mr. A is suspected of hitting a patrol car in defiance of the police's demand to stop after the signal violation.

The police broke the driver's window and arrested A as he backed up without stopping even after hitting the patrol car.

At that time, it was confirmed that A was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, but the police are investigating the exact motive of the crime.
