[Gyeonggi] Gyeonggi-do Province discounts up to 13% on international express mail fees for multicultural families

Gyeonggi-do Province and Gyeongin Regional Post Office announced that they will discount international express mail and EMS fees for multicultural families by up to 13% this year following last year.

Those who are eligible for benefits are those who are specified as "spouse of the people" or status of residence F-6-1, F-6-2, and F-6-3 on their alien registration card, marriage immigrants, and naturalization permit holders.

The basic discount rate is 10%, with an additional 3% discount for pre-registration at the Internet post office, and you can benefit from all post offices in Gyeonggi Province, but mass shipments for commercial purposes are limited.

Kim Won-kyu, director of the Gyeonggi-do Immigration and Social Affairs Bureau, said, "We will provide practical benefits and discover various support projects to improve the quality of life of multicultural families."

As of last year, the number of multicultural families in the province was 358,000, an increase of 15,000 from 2023.
