[Issue Weather] Cold wave will continue until tomorrow morning...Impact of West Coast and Jeju Snow Cloud

2025.01.10 PM 09:16
Hello, I'm Go Eunjae of Issue Weather.

Yesterday and today, the strongest 'freezer cold wave' was in full swing this winter.

Even the waves that hit rocks or breakwaters were frozen in the freezing cold as if they had entered a freezer.

Most regions, including Seoul, recorded their lowest temperatures this winter.

Myeon-only, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, was the coldest in the country at minus 25 degrees Celsius.

A cold wave of around minus 10 degrees Celsius has also hit the southern part of the country.

You may be wondering if it will be this cold on weekends.

There was a little less cold wind from today's afternoon.

Fortunately, the momentum of the cold wave will gradually decline.

Tomorrow, the daytime temperature in Seoul will rise again.

We will recover the temperature at this time of year on Sunday.

However, snow rain will continue on the west coast and Jeju Island.

In particular, the west coast of Honam and the mountainous areas of Jeju will be the last point where strong snow will be concentrated until tomorrow morning.

After that, until the day after tomorrow, which is Sunday, it will stop snowing.

Still, the snow and cold weather on the west coast will subside the day after tomorrow.

It's been a series of really bad weather for the week.

Please take some time to recharge your energy on the weekend.

It was an issue.
