Prosecutors launch investigation into Shinhan Card over 'suspected theft of technology from partner companies'

Prosecutors have launched a full-fledged investigation into Shinhan Card, which is suspected of stealing online card payment technology from its suppliers.

The Suwon District Prosecutors' Office is investigating the case of Shinhan Card, which is suspected of violating the Unfair Competition Prevention Act, to the Defense Business and Industrial Technology Crime Investigation Department earlier this month.

Earlier, Company A sued the online card payment security authentication solution program that they had provided, saying that Shinhan Card Company has changed only the company and is using it as it is.

Shinhan Card is said to be in a position where Company A is claiming unreasonable property rights.
