Following the medical doctors, a group of medical students conveyed to the Korean Medical Association that they wanted to impeach Chairman Lim Hyun-taek.

In a statement to the delegates of the Korean Medical University and Graduate School of Medicine, the Association of Students said,
Chairman Lim
criticized that he has ignored the voices of students and that he has shown only absurd remarks and incompetence over the past eight months, leading to great despair.

He also stressed that he could not trust Chairman Lim and that it would be impossible to establish a cooperative relationship in the future, and that he hoped that the no-confidence bill would be passed at the general meeting of representatives of the medical association.

Among the 40 medical schools nationwide, representatives of students from 39 medical schools were listed except for Chungnam National University Medical School, which is Chairman Lim's alma mater.

Earlier, 90 members of the Korean Medical Association, including Park Dan-dan, chairman of the emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association, also publicly requested the delegation of the medical association to impeach Chairman Lim.
