"In the U.S. presidential election, the established media lost and podcasts and TikToks were released."
Analysts say President-elect Donald Trump's victory in the 47th U.S. presidential election clearly reveals the reduction of the influence of the established media and the explosive growth of new media represented by TikTok and podcasts.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the influence of TV broadcasts and newspapers, which have been traditional "gatekeepers" of political discourse, has diminished as Americans rely on more media than in the past for information.

The percentage of Americans who listened to podcasts more than once a month has risen significantly from 9% in 2009 to 47% this year, and more than half of TikTok users on the video platform have access to the news via TikTok.

With NBC, CBS and ABC's audience for the presidential election down 32% from the previous presidential election and CNN nearly halving, content from news influencer is higher viewed on TikTok.

Former President Trump took full advantage of the changes in the media landscape during the campaign, appearing late last month on Joe Rogan's podcast, which is popular among young men, and interviewing him for three hours.
