It has been confirmed that Iran has proposed to the IAEA that it will stop producing highly enriched uranium that can be used to make nuclear weapons to prevent the adoption of the IAEA resolution.According to foreign media including

Reuters, the IAEA said in a recent report shared with member states that Iran's 60% enriched uranium stockpile was discussed when Secretary-General Rafael Grossi visited Iran last week. The

report also reportedly states that the IAEA has confirmed that Iran has begun implementing preparatory measures.A senior diplomat,

, said Iran's proposal would limit its 60% uranium stockpile to about 185 kg, making it a precondition for the repeal of the Iranian resolution at the IAEA's board meeting this week.According to the

report, Iran's 60% uranium stockpile as of October 26 was 182.3kg, an increase of 17.6kg from the 164.7kg stockpile in the August report.

Uranium, which has increased its concentration to 60%, can be used for nuclear weapons if it goes through an additional process to raise its concentration to 90%, and Iran's high-enriched uranium now makes four nuclear bombs, Reuters said.
