South Korea's Park Inbee has made history by winning her third straight LPGA major in a year.
The 24-year-old took the title with a four-stroke lead over her Korean compatriot Kim In-kyung, carding a 74 to finish on eight-under at the U.S. Women's Open in New York.
The world number one already won the Kraft Nabisco and LPGA Championships earlier this year with two more majors remaining.
Until Sunday morning, Babe Zaharias was the only player in history to win the first three major LPGA championships, but Park is the first to win three in a season of at least four majors.
South Korean golfers took the top three spots of the LPGA major, with Ryu So-yeon finishing third at one under.
