Three out of 10 South Korean men at the age of 40 or older appear to be suffering from andropause symptoms.
According to a report released by the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology, 28.4 percent of the surveyed 2,000 men in their 40s or older are confirmed to suffer from a male menopausal disorder.
Andropause is the result of a gradual drop in testosterone which is an androgen. Doctors recommend taking hormone preparations and regular exercises as ways to cure or prevent the menopausal trouble.
