Scent of Luxury Movie Theatres

Megabox has introduced "Garden of The Boutique", a system to fill its luxury theatres, branded as "The Boutique", with the franchise's signature scent.

The South Korean multiplex movie theatre chain has said that it has carried out dozens of tests to develop its signature scent since last June, that fits the environment of "The Boutique" theatres.

It added that the novel scenting system, the first of its kind launched for a movie theatre in South Korea, has been developed jointly with SentOn, a local aroma marketing company aimed at creating the most suitable aromatic experience for businesses.

The cinema chain also said that "Garden of The Boutique" will be combined with visual cues to make viewers feel more sensuous and comfortable with the artificial fragrance while they enjoy the movie.

The scenting system is available in Megabox's five "The Boutique" theatres in the country.
